I thank President Obama because ...he's the first President to successfully wake up the nation. We have finally become "present" to our surroundings and circumstances not only as a United States but as a world. Only with that comes positive change. I thank you President Obama for being man enough to want the task that probably won't show any global appreciation for many years to come. But i thank you for jumping in and taking a stand. It's funny about waking people up some are really nasty after sleeping for so long and take quite a bit of coaxing before arising others are very welcoming at a new day and step forward quickly for any new task at hand.
