Obama has been making pronounced efforts to link his presidency to that of Abraham Lincoln, and with good reason. While Lincoln's presidency faced an actual civil war, right now we are facing an ideological civil war. His plans to unite the two halves and celebrate our differences is exactly the breath of fresh air that we need.

I think President Obama has brought ethics and integrity back to the White House. I agree, Jennifer, that he has linked his presidency to Abraham Lincoln (rated our BEST President btw) with good reason -- if it weren't for Lincoln, Obama wouldn't likely BE President today! Lincoln took his role as the President very, very seriously and to heart. He understood the difficulties that the Country faced at that time, just as we face tremendous difficulties today. It is my hope that Obama will, in the history of time, be considered one of our best Presidents.
