Are you for or against our stimulus package plans? Are there particular parts of the plan that you think are incompetant and need more overview, or are you a "lets get this through" type of person?

I'm glad the stimulus package passed, and I really hope that it does what it promises. I really disagree with any money going to the Wall Street fatcats, but in politics you have to make compromises. I hope that we will soon see an FDR-era upshift in this country, and not a Hoover-era mess. We need infrastructure, we need jobs.

I am SO thankful the Stimulus Plan passed. I simply do NOT understand legislative members who think that sitting and not doing anything is the right answer. I also do not understand the concept that we're spending too much money to address the problem. THEIR approach is what got us into this mess to begin with!
For those of us who are not working on Wall Street, who are struggling every day to put food on the table, to pay our rent or mortgage, to see our children through school, compromise and collaboration are a daily requirement for living. WE need jobs. We need help to be able to contribute to the economy again. We need our legislative leaders to LEAD, not squabble like little children because they don't get their way!

Today the Stimulus Plan was signed into law. Next step, dealing with further banking problems, like getting credit rolling again and money for people facing foreclosure. Like so many large issues, getting our country (and the rest of the world) out of this economic crisis isn't going to be solved with just one bill. It will take a number of stimulus programs and at least a year, if not longer, to dig us out of this hole. Here's hoping this is a message that legislative leaders can stomach and will be willing to start actually paying attention to solving the problem rather than adding to the problem.

Are you serious? Have you ever read a history book? Do you know what caused the FDR Era upshift? (Hint: It was not the new deal)

You people are the reason our country is on the path to mediocrity. You have no clue what you are talking about, you just "feel" like Obama will solve all the problems with no justification bound in fact. Either that or you just want someone else's money without having to work for it.

Mr. President:
Here is God's Stimulas Package: MTT. 6:24-36
I'd appreciate a response, just to let me know that you received this most important communication

Let's get this through - but with tight and well-thought out criteria and oversight - for we know how corrupt the society has gotten and continues to become - we need not be naive about any of it.

Capitalism IS Dead

Re:The Stimulus Plan 9 Months, 2 Weeks ago
Our Dear Leader will save this country through the redistribution of wealth, the increased taxing of those people who are selfish enough to make more than $250,000 per year and taxing those greedy industialists for 90% of their bonuses. All hail our great Dear Leader, Obama! We must reward those who have contributed the very least to our society by paying for their housing, health care and food. All Hail Our Great Dear Leader, Obama!
